Patricia Paskov

Research Affiliate

Patricia Paskov is a Research Affiliate of the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative and a Technology and Security Policy Fellow at RAND, where she focuses on the science of frontier AI evaluations.

Her work has been published at top machine learning venues including ICML, where her research received a 2025 Spotlight Award, and FAccT. She is the Resilience section lead for the 2026 International AI Safety Report and an Evaluation Science Working Group Chair for the EvalEval Coalition. Previously, Patricia built machine learning models at Condé Nast and designed and implemented large-scale randomized controlled trials with The World Bank and Innovations for Poverty Action on topics including financial inclusion, mental health, education, and local governance. Patricia has presented her findings to key stakeholders including the US Department of Defense, the EU AI Office, and Microsoft Research.
Patricia holds degrees in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and the European University Institute. She brings an international perspective as an EU-US dual national with experience living and working across five continents.
