His legal scholarship is forthcoming in the Stanford Technology Law Review and the Yale Journal of Law and Technology. He has also presented his work in technical venues like NeurIPS. He has experience with strategic litigation and policy advocacy in the United States and in the European Union.
Prior to taking up his position at AIGI, Nicholas graduated with honors from Harvard Law School where he focused on law and technology, constitutional law and public international law. Before law school, he taught debating in China for two years during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
