Her DPhil research focuses on tracing and analysing various security-oriented AI narratives and US-China relations, exploring why state leaders make decisions about funding and implementing AI in critical state functions. At the Oxford China Policy Lab, she was a 2023-2024 fellow and has directed a conference for policymakers on AI and international relations.
Her broader work focuses on the disruptive impact of emerging technologies on international relations. Outside of academia, she advises both public and private actors on key emerging technology policy issues across climate and energy tech, AI, cybersecurity, and other relevant topics. She has received degrees from Oxford and Yale.
