AI Governance Initiative is co-led by Robert Trager, a social scientist specialising in international relations and frontier AI regulation and Michael Osborne, a specialist in machine learning. Housed in the Martin School of the University of Oxford, AIGI is one of the few centres in the world to focus on the governance of AI from both technical and policy perspectives.
